# paymentAccountUpdated

> Sent to `paymentAccountUpdated` subscriptions when a payment account's `status` or the `status` of any rail direction changes. `paymentAccount` is the same object `GET /organization/{organizationId}/payment_account/{id}` returns, and `organizationId` is the organization that holds it.

The `X-Signature` header contains an HMAC-SHA256 signature over the [RFC 8785](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc8785)-canonicalized JSON body. See [Verifying Webhooks](/guides/verifying-webhooks).
