# MCP Server

> Connect your preferred LLM to the Etherfuse API using our MCP server

The Etherfuse API docs are available as a [Model Context Protocol (MCP)](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) server. This lets you connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible client and ask about the API in natural language.

## Getting Started

Add the Etherfuse MCP server to your client using the following URL:

```
https://docs.etherfuse.com/mcp
```

<Info>
  **MCP is an open standard** that allows AI assistants to connect to external tools and data sources. If your LLM client supports MCP, you can use it with the Etherfuse API.
</Info>

## What You Can Do

The server searches and reads these docs, including the v2 API reference and the endpoints it shares with the rest of the API. It does not call the API with your API key. Once connected, your assistant can answer questions and write requests for tasks such as:

* Registering bank accounts and wallets as payment accounts, and checking their rails
* Creating quotes and orders for onramps, offramps, and swaps
* Reading order status and funding instructions
* Creating customers and running KYC and KYB
* Creating webhook subscriptions and verifying deliveries

The server can also send feedback to the docs team when a page is wrong or unclear.
